My personal experience as a player at the tables at PlanetPoker were very positive. The Software worked flawlessly but in my opinion the graphics were just a little too busy for me. The players seem to be void of poker skills at the tables I sat down at resulting in a profit for me and subsequent loss for them, then again I did not sit down with Mike Caro or Roy Cooke who frequently play here so I may have just gotten lucky. The buy-ins range from a minimum of $5 (with a $1 entry fee) to a maximum of $100 (with a $9 entry fee). The pot is split 50% for 1st Place, 30% for 2nd place and 20% for third place.

The Rake (Amount the house takes from the pot)
The money removed from each pot by the house is the rake. Planet Poker house rake is 5% of the pot size, capping at $3, calculated on a variable rake structure. This allows them to adjust the rake depending upon the number of players, and the betting limits. Specific rake amounts are detailed for each game in their Games pages.
The maximum rake also varies depending on the number of players. With fewer player, the max rake generally gets lower. Please look under "Table info" in the game menu for rake information about each table
