Wow, wow & wow! Say hello to the next blockbuster franchise. It views
like a ramped-up sci-fi B movie on steroids. The very slight bit of
cheesiness suits it well. If it was done because of budget constraints I
hope they don't polish up the next one. There will probably be 2 or 3
more. If done on purpose then they are even smarter than I thought.
Fun, fresh and with a credible premise. Someone is going to make a bundle
on these, just a bundle.

Be the first on your block to see it so you will be ready for the
conversation.

Great review! I can't wait to see this one. The TV show was FANTASTIC
and they are running it on the SciFi Channel now. Try to catch a day
when they show all the episodes back to back and TIVO it as it's best
to watch them in order. I am amazed that the show was cancelled after
showing only 11 of the 14 produced episodes and it will be nice to get
some closure.

I watched the TV show based on the fact that it was created by the same
guy who came up with Buffy the Vampire Slayer, another great (if you like
camp) show.

I have this question about the movie: do they stick with the "wild-west"
aspect that dominated the TV series.

By the way, the Sci-Fi channel bought the repeats to the TV show and have
been airing it frequently (no doubt to push the movie).

I wish I'd seen some of the TV shows. Then again, maybe not. I'll watch
out for them now.

Yes, there are some wild-west references. I wouldn't call them major but
maybe someone else would. I don't want to give anything away. Unless
folks hate sci-fi they've got to like this movie.

I'll say it for the 3rd time. This one has got to be a winner. I will
eat crow if it isn't.

I can't say it wasn't camp, but I don't think you have to like camp to
like Buffy.
