Anybody knows what is the % of winning players compared to losing players. I am
asking because there is a room to proposes a 50% bonus on winnings of their
players and i wonder how they do their calculation.

Thanks for your feedback

6-7% was the percentage quoted at Camp Hellmuth in Las Vegas by
insiders from internet poker.

that low! Very impressive. i guess the rake must be responsible for at least
20%...

I really have a hard time believing this stat. I am a so-so player. I
have been playing both limit and no-limit for over 3 years. I have
only a couple of deposits to track, so I know my results. I am up
almost 800%. Not a huge amout, but I wouldn't place myself in the top
7% of online poker players.

I never play beyond my means, though. I have strick move up rules.
For limit, I must have 300xBB for the next level. For NL, I must have
20 buy-ins.

Is this 7% statistic verifiable?

You need to believe your own stats! If you are up 800% then 8 other players are
busted for the same amount that you deposited. This puts you firstly in the top
20%. Automatically you are in the very top of the top because the "rake" took
probably another 300% or more over that time. Its not the amount but the %.
You verified it yourself.

This is probably right, that's why me and my users beat the rake with
bonuses ;) After bonuses nearly all of my players are winners.

Don't underestimate yourself. You are doing it right. A C+ player
with great money management will make more and not go bust as quick as
an A player with poor money management who "takes shots". Good job ML
