I would like an opinion from some of the players out there who play at B&M
and online cardrooms WITH progressive bad beat jackpots.
Are you ONLY playing there for the bad beat?
If so, what is a good jackpot $amount$ that attracts you to play there over
another cardroom?
and
what are your thoughts if that progressive bad beats wasn't as hard to hit
as it is now and there were many other badbeat (%) payouts similar to the
game of carribean stud poker in casinos?
If you do not care about the progressive jackpot at all, would you rather
see something else in a cardroom?

It doesn't effect my play above 5/10. Sometimes I'll sit at a 2/4 table and
call any pair (at least until the flop) and try to get "unlucky."
But other than that it doesn't effect my game in the least. You are better
off playing your "A" game, and after leaving the table spending 3 BBs on the
slot machines. You'll save yourself money and probably have better odds of
hitting something significant.
As a side note, I did finally qualify for a "bad beat" jackpot at the Trop.
The only problem is, my hand hit the very week AFTER the Trop got rid of
their bad beat jackpot. That should qualify as a double bad beat.
