View Full Version : This happened to me at Paradise Poker last night

So last night I sit down at a .50/$1 hold em table.

My first hand I'm dealt a pair of 7's in the hole.

I limp in with a $1 call.

The flop comes: 3 T T

The suits aren't a factor. I again call.

The turn, another T for: 3 T T T

People check to me and I bet $1, thinking I had the only pair out there.
Everyone folds
but one other person.

The river comes the last T for : 3 T T T T (Argh)

So, I check, the last guy bets, and I know I'm beat (all he needs is a
higher card than
a 7 to beat me), but I call his bet anyway to see his cards. I lose to an
ace high.

OK. Fine. I fold the next hand, and my third hand of the night I get dealt
9's in the hole.
I limp in again. The flop comes: 7 T T

Everyone checks. The turn another T for: 7 T T T

I bet again, everyone folds but one person. At this point I send a message
on the chat saying
"There is no way the river is a T again"

Well, it was - and I lost to a K high.

Go figure.

I know this isn't the point of the story, but why call here?

I think Hand Histories should be required on all stories from now on or
immediately deleted. Not saying this didn't happen, but I would still like
to see them.

The proof that this story is BS.

If it was your first hand , you would have posted the $1
