I was playing an Omaha 8 S n G last night and ended up getting blinded out
coming 6th /9. I only played a couple of hands, was I being too tight? How
many of the below hands approx were playable, what %? I did't actually win a pot
all tournament! I think it was just a bad run of cards and so am telling myself
that I didn't really do anythig wrong here because since I've started playing O8
I've actually done quite well.

Any time you get blinded out to come in 6th you did not play enough
hands - doesn't matter what they are. Once you get critical you can't
just sit around waiting. You should have been aggressive with at least
a couple of the hands you had on the last orbit or 2 before being
blinded out.

2s 3s 9h Kc

The above hands were all in the last orbit or so before you got blinded
and shoudl have been played.

"You played smart Ashley, it just wasnt your day. You'll get em next
time."

In all SnGs, and especially O8 SnGs, it is generally right to play
tight early. However letting yourself get blinded out in 6th spot is
not good regardless of the cards you get; if your stack starts to
become critical you simply have to open up. There were several hands
that he could have and should have made a move with in the list he
provided before he was all in on the BB with trash.

Depending on position, and action, you could potentially play any of
the hands. I would probably consider playing the hands below, which is
9/41, or almost 25%.
