The notion that it is closing is true. The rumors surrounding "why" are
unverified. I have heard and read about a dozen rumors myself, so I really
can't figure out what is true. But, quite honestly, they probably just
decided they would have a better bottom line with slots instead of a poker
room. I think that is a dangerous strategy since I think poker rooms bring
in a lot of residual revenues even if the rake ain't that great.

One newpaper reported that 2 dealers were fired and other poker room
employees suspended. Mohegan denied any connection. Rumors were drug
dealing.
