there doesn't seem to be the crazy 3 and 4 betting preflop and people actually
fold now when you bet out

tables at the lower limits are definitely tighter now. don't know if the
players have started to read a few books or just decided that they were sick
of losing money chasing gut shots. with that said, i played with a gem of a
player, watched him run 160 up to about 700 then leave 4 hours later with
50. guy played every hand.

I'm going to guess that the huge influx of new players from party's TV
commercials taught the lot of them a huge lesson quickly.
lots and lots of people reading this group, not to mention others, took
their money just like candy from a baby (as they say).
well, they lost. they lost big. in fact, I suspect that they got their asses
handed to them, and they learned: "oops! that's not the way it's done" and
quit it.
that's my guess anyway. ymmv.

Not sure it was just the TV ads and not sure many people are leaving. They had
almost 4200 real money players last night, with the other 3 at 1200, 1100, and
950. Amazing that Party could still be increasing their numbers daily after
crashing so much the past few days. By the looks of it, not many people going
broke yet.

It's all Pat OinkMalley's fault. He's been hyping the fact that the place
was a fish farm, and burned out the games.
