I just finished reading a GCA post touting his new website (which I
believe is ficticious by the way and will more likely than not never
happen)In his post he says of him and his fellow cheat Martino "We
have stopped cheating".

My question to the rgp folk is: Why would he make such a claim? Is he
repenting? Does he feel that after all these years of scamming that
he was wrong? Is he afraid that being known as a current cheat that
it will hurt his website? And what's with this pokerstars $105 thing?
He says that he wants to show how easily he can win honestly. But how
do we know he isn't just setting someone up with a buddy that will
lose on purpose? If he can win so easily why does he need to "go
commercial" as he states in his pokermafia post? Is it possible he's
setting up a major scam here on rgp. I'm curious as to what others
think. I would ask Russ but who can believe him.

There was this guy who lived on my floor in 1984 when I went to ASU. His
name was Weird Dave. He seemed like the kinda guy who was smart, but was
living in his own reality by choice. Like if he wanted to meet Madonna, the
reality of 17 burly security guards didn't really apply to him. One Friday,
he brings around this flier for some off-campus party where they were
investing in 40 kegs and it was $5 to get in. I had never heard of the
organizers, so declined but he went. Apparently they bought a total of 5
kegs and when those ran dry, gave everyone the boot. The next Friday, Weird
Dave brought me another flier. It started, "This Time We're Serious..."
Weird Dave went; I stayed home.
