This point has come up in a couple of threads but according to
Howard Lederer's trip report, this was the hand right before the dinner
break.

Could be; in fact, if Howard said this (I don't recall reading that) then
it's good enough for me. This is an example of why the announcers are so
shitty. The announcers said the players were going on break, which I took
to mean dinner break, not the break in action for the day. But then the
next shot is of the tourny personnel bagging the chips and that's the end of
the night. So, the editing made it appear like it was the last hand.

Yes, I thought it was the last hand of the night after watching. But
then I went back and read Howard's report (Looking for his unknown, four
way action hand). He didn't stay for the hand and sees that Chan is gone
when they return from dinner.
