So far I have gotten more than 500 of them! Yikes! I keep deleting and they
keep on coming! None have come to my AOL account tho, all to my CPC acct.
Weird. Hope it goes away soon and hope noone opens any of these and gets more
than merely annoyed.

Jan,

Are you running an antivirus program on you mail server or gateway? If not
then I highly recommend that you get one. Until then you could have your
admins write a script to block theses emails. I am guessing that you do
not, AND YOU SHOULD.

BTW have you check to see if your infected? Go here for info:

in there.

Hi Ed,
Thanks for the suggestions. I am running Norton and have all of the recent
updates. My computer(s) are clean. (Which is more than I can say for my house
or mind). Also, I have run all of these latest scans that look for just this
virus and I am good to go. I will talk to my administrator about getting these
emails to stop. Thanks for the info, I appreciate it!

Jan,

If you are using Exchange you can block attachements by extension.

If you are running Sendmail, I recommend that that you have them write a
perl script to stip out any attachment that could cause problems. They can
be saved to a folder and examined by the admin for suitability.

There are some very good gateway programs out there that will block a lot
of this.

Good Luck,
