The first hour was crazy... My table called for rebuys constantly.
The rebuy runners wouldn't get three tables away and someone would
yell for another.
Can't speak for Greg's rebuys, but he did have a nice all-in. Low on
chips, with an increase in blinds approaching, he pushed em in with 33
and hit a set on the river...if I recall correctly. I think he came
close to trippling up. The end result though was he got a second wind
and increased his prize from where it would have been.
Act III tonight awarded 5, 10k seats for WPF and 9k to the 6th. Who
the hell was Mr. Action anyway? Rookie or Rounder? or G.Gordon Liddy
on Donuts? My money says the "it's only my second time playing" line
is false.
