You took my statement wrong. I don't and never have looked at total connected
players. I only look at real money players. That's the sign of the actual
success of the site because that's how I and the site make money. Me playing
the games and the site making the rake. So you may be right. Total connected
players is 10.500 right now at Party.

But in the number I have always looked at and referred to is real money
players.

Right now....

Party Poker 4872

UltimateBet 1678

PokerStars 1353

Paradise 1217

So as you can see, the numbers have increased slightly at all rooms over the
past few months. But the increase at Party is just as high. They almost broke
5000 real money players last night.

So for now, I'll keep my prediction. It may happen someday but unless
something huge happens, the numbers and the extreme lead by Party will remain
close to how it has been for the past year.

Oink.

Unbelievable. Suddenly three or four months has become a year. I mean, I
know you're totally biased, but have you completely lost touch with reality?

Hey John, long time no talk to you. Thanks for posting about the increase
of customers at Stars. I havent been there in ages, but I will go back
and check it out.

I have had it with Party. Their software just screwed me out of a 16 big
bet pot while playing two tables. My "fold" action on one table
registered on the other table where I had just check/raised the turn with
10 high nut straight. The hand history shows the river as everyone
checking and me folding. A lower straight won.

Not the first time this has happened to me, but it will be the last time.
Screw Party and the O'Malley and other shills.

No need for such hostility Quixote. You really don't need to screw me, just
bend me over.

Do you have your 2 games directly on top of each other ? I play 3 games at a
time and can say, even though I am a shill, that I have never, never, never had
this happen and I have never, ever heard of this happening without it being the
error of the player. Not saying that it didn't happen to you but do you have
your resolution set so that 2 games are far apart from each other and there is
no chance of mis clicking on the wrong game ?

I wouldn't go back to Party either if I was you. Leave for good. But if you
want help with your screen setting, let me know.

I am sorry, PBO, I was just pissed off. You should be a CSR. You handle
rants very well :-) As far as the double ass hole moron, pigdog and a few
others that called me idiot, moron, and other derogatory terms, I dont
know crap about computers. Why dont some of these know-it all asses offer
a little constructive criticism instead of blindly swinging away.

I have a 19" monitor. When I play two tables, which isnt often, i open
two windows. One is hidden til the other table calls me back. Or, I can
click the button that takes me to the other table myself. I simply do not
know how to get two tables on my monitor at the same time for simultaneous
viewing. Someone else mentioned dragging the top of the screen down to
where I want it. I did and it worked, and I will go back in a few
minutes. I presume I simply set down at another table and size it the
same way. I will report back.

Thanks PBO for not being as obnoxious as I was and for your constructive
reply. Also, thanks to the other posters that offered suggestion. To my
detractors who are clueless, unsocialble, insensitive boobs, why dont you
try reasoning in your own little minds that you might be talking with an
old 70+ lonely widower that plays poker online to keep from killing
himself. I know you younger guys dont like setting next to a stinking old
man because you have posted that and worse here so many times. Just be
grateful you cant smell my stink in cyberspace.

I guess I should have resisted the temptation to reply in kind to the
youngsters, but I just couldnt resist. Had to let off a little steam.

Hey Don,
Hold on there before you pull the trigger, you can't smell worse than
me... I ain't a widower yet, but as soon as I can get an extra couple
of bucks for some ammo.... (that's just a sick joke Margaret).
I don't play more than one table very often Don but if you are using
windows click on that double page icon at the top right of your screen
between the X and the - sign. That should reduce your screen from
maximum to something less. If it doesn't then grab the lower right
corner of your screen by clicking and holding your left mouse button
and reduce the size of your screen that way.
Depending on where my seat is at the table I pull one screen down and
right and the other up and left (or what ever combination works for
you), just enough so I can see and click on either screen whenever I
need to. That will give you a perspective on which game you are
active with at any given time. Never played more than two at a time
but I don't see why it wouldn't work with multiple screens.
And lighten up you old fart... you can always argue with me about
something... I'm easy.

OK, I'll tell you. In February (six months ago), Party peaked out at less
than 500 ring game players, whereas Paradise peaked out at just over 1000.
Those numbers come from PokerPulse. Party didn't even come close to passing
Paradise until a ways into the WPT season. Now you tell me, when was that?
Was it, perhaps, three or four months ago?

We can argue all day about which site is better or why Party is ahead, but
there's no reason to disagree on objective facts.

I don't know for sure....

But I think that Party had much more than 500 real money players in
February. Then again, I could be wrong. Just seems like a long time ago
since they gained 4500 players more per night.

in the horserace of online poker rooms, it was a huge field with a couple dozen
shooting out of the gate. several have already pulled up lame and had to be
shot (pokerspot, highland?) a few others are walking instead of running -they
may have serious injuries (acr) . a couple of the early leaders tired quickly
and have dropped back (planet), the general field is still quite large
(pokerroom, truepoker). 4 horses have pulled away -Party, Stars, UB, and
Paradise.
but they are just now reaching the first turn. and its a very long race. so
who has the best trainer and jockey (owners/managers)? and will a spectator
(the US Govt) run onto the track and disrupt the race?

Good comparison. One problem...while the other 3 are at the first turn
Party is already coming down the back stretch. But horses have been known to
crash and burn with big leads. My prediction: Party by 1 length, with a 3
way tie for second. And a dark horse coming out of nowhere to take a strong
3rd.

I don't do horses, but wouldn't the dark horse be a ?strong? 5th?
