I'm pretty sure he's saying that it's fixed because it's hard to believe
someone would call an all-in when three diamonds flop, and the guy had a
pair that was lower than the lowest card on the flop, and neither card was a
diamond.
I'm not agreeing with him, I just think the guy who won made a crazy call.

A crazy call? He only had to call 572.00 in a 49,000.00 pot. It would
have been crazy to fold.

First of all, you were the DOG in this hand.
Secondly, did you expect the big stack to lay down to your (relatively)
small raise with a pocket pair?
Thirdly, you obviously posted this while still on tilt...go put more money
back on the table and let me know where you're going :)

He called $572, on a $49k pot with the possibility of knocking out 2 players
and he made a crazy call? Two words, POT ODDS.

Why wouldn't he? You and the other caller had less than average stacks for
the table ($23k would be average stack size), he had you both covered and an
opportunity to knock 2 players out. If he lost, worse case for him would be
2nd in chips at the table.

Yep, he called 10k with a pocket pair and the big stack. He saw the chance
to "get lucky" and take out two smaller stacks. You were the underdog. Do
you not understand that a pair is better than AK? What does he know? He
knows that he has limited downside potential to see a flop. The most he can
lose in the pot is the 14k you had in your stack, and probably PUT YOU ON A
BIG ACE, I would have.

I wasn't "challenging you to a poker duel" I was just saying that if you're
still on tilt I'd like to be at your table. By the way, what was the buyin
for that tourney? Just curious.

Or he put you on a big ace, or he's not that bright -- I once had a
guy all in on the first hand of the tournament when I had AA and he
had, I swear to god, the J8 of clubs. He got there, too.

He's the big stack, with more than DOUBLE the chips of anyone else at
the table. 10,000 isn't much to him, and the fact that you're knocked
out if he wins is a nice big bonus.
I've seen people call with K9o or worse in situations like that (well,
maybe not after the other guy calls, but certainly if it'll be heads
up). This guy was actually the favorite in the hand when the money
went in.
One of the responsibilities of the big stack is to trim down the field,
especially when they see an opportunity for a twin kill. Only time I don't
like it is when they're obviously playing favorites on who they pick on.

He was getting about 4-1 on the call. Even against AK and QQ he will
win 20% of the time.
