Is what this board has become since Russ stopped posting and the Poker
Industry hired imposters have been set loose.
It is a sad day indeed. People have already started impostering me.
Even the few unknowns with the balls to stand up for Russ aren't immune
to attacks from the minions.
Things have gotten so bad I now fear the worst. That Russ G. has grown
tired of the nonsense and has given up. Because of the minions? Of
course not, he would never back down from them, but because of the lack
of support from the good people on this board. Ironically enough, many
of the people who reaped the wealth of Russ' tutelage over the years are
in line to mock those who stand up in his defense.
RGP was a shill ridden cesspool of propaganda before Russ arrived, he
turned into a extraordinary medium for the sharing of poker truths and
theories. It appears things have swung back in the wrong direction.
When I met Russ in the 80's he changed my poker game forever, but more
importantly he changed my life. He taught me a lot about cards, but a
lot more about life and the human condition. His rise from a
struggling, addiction riddled man to the premier force on Poker's most
powerful medium is something for all to admire. Russ Georgiev is to
poker what Thomas Jefferson was to America.
I for one will not back down to the minions. I will always be proud to
call him my friend.
