Anyone know how well attended the Friday night NLHE tourneys are?
It's quite a ride from LI and I'm trying to decide if it is worth it.

BTW, any other Long Islander's might be interested to know that some of the
casinos, including the Trop, sponsor a flight from Republic Airport. You're
on the casino floor in about an hour for $79 round trip! The problem is
that it leaves too late for the tourney. Maybe we can get enough people and
they'll send another plane. We'd only need about 20 people.

Not sure on the Trop.. but they say the Sands has good low limit tourneys
on friday night.. I just heard them talking about the Friday thing (Friday
nights) and they said it was pretty packed...

Friday night tournaments are usually big. There can be over 100
players. You can call them at 1-888-pokerac - ask for the tournament
director and ask how many were in on the previous Fridays.
Tournaments there are now rebuys. Also ask what the tourney is -
buy-ins can vary.
