MARGE,SARGE,ATLARGE,FARGO,and ESCARGOT are all spinoffs of
BARGE.For those that are new to RGP, every so often you'll
see an announcement that one of the above is now open for registration.
The RGE or RGO in the names stands for Rec. Gambling Excursion or Outing.
ESCARGOT (You'll have to ask Lou Krieger how he came up with this title)
is held at the Bicycle Club in LA annually in late Jan or early Feb.
SARGE (Southern Area Rec Gambling Excursion) is held at the Horseshoe
in Tunica,Mississippi in late Feb each year.
ATLARGE (Atlantic City Rec Gambling Excursion) is held at the Taj in
Atlantic City in late March annually.
BARGE (Big August Rec Gambling Excursion) is held at the Horsehsoe in
Last Vegas the first week of August annually.
FARGO (Foxwoods Aannual Rec Gambling Outing) is held at Foxwoods in the
early fall, usually Oct but was in Sept this year.
MARGE (Mississippi Annual Rec Gambling Excursion) is held at the Biloxi
Grand Casino in early Nov. annually.
Each of these events draws between 50 to 100+ and the event usually has
3 private Tournaments with lots of ring game action available.
If you've been thinking about registering for one of the "ARG' but haven't,
I urge you to reconsider and go to one, you won't be sorry.
As Peter 'Foldem' Secor says "There aren't as strangers at an 'ARG' event,
just friends who haven't met yet.
