View Full Version : Need Poker master's opinion/advise (hold'em technicals)

To Poker Masters,

My poker play centres around two general themes.


1. Big cards beats small cards

2. Poker hand value is not absolute but relative to
opponent's cards.


Even though both the above points are very simple
and sounds obvious, it took me few years to figure
it out.

I came to the understanding of Point 2 only in the
last few months. (This point makes me fold QJs for
the raise before me. which would have been impossible
for me to do earlier.)


I am looking for your input on similar simple and
powerful facts in poker.
